Why does nobody warn you that the Chimera Ant arc takes 30 episodes just to get going
I put off Hunter x Hunter for 2 years because everyone kept saying the Chimera Ant arc was peak, but nobody mentioned you sit through like 15 episodes of palace setup before anything pops off. Tbh I almost dropped it at episode 111. Does the pacing get better or did yall just power through out of spite?

I hit the same wall around episode 111 and almost bailed too. What saved me was watching it in chunks instead of binging, like 2 or 3 episodes a night max. The palace stuff is slow but it's all building to something, and once the invasion kicks off around 116 it does not let up. The payoff after all that setup is real, it's just a rough stretch to sit through. Power through but take breaks so you don't burn out on it.
