Vent: subbed vs dubbed for the first watch of a 50 episode show, and I picked wrong
Started Frieren subbed last month and got 12 episodes in before realizing I was reading more than watching. Switched to dub on the second run and the fights actually landed for me. Anyone got a rule for which way to go on a long series, or is it just vibes?

Could your rule just be whether the show has a lot of visual details the words carry?
