Vent: My brother called me out for how I talk about anime
We were grabbing pizza in Chicago and I was ranting about a show's pacing. He just looked at me and said, 'You don't talk about the story, you just talk about other people talking about it.' It made me realize I spend more time in online arguments than actually enjoying the shows. Anyone else get stuck in that loop?

Yeah that's so real. I see it with everything now, like movies or even sports. People just repeat the same talking points they heard online instead of saying what they actually felt. It's like we're all just playing roles in someone else's argument.
