Switched from subs to dubs on a whim 2 weeks ago

I used to swear by subs for everything but after watching Spy x Family dubbed I actually kept up with the jokes way better. Anyone else find dubs hit different depending on the show genre?

Wait, hold up - Spy x Family has a dub? Since when? Am I that out of the loop? I thought Anya's voice would be impossible to pull off in English but now I'm genuinely curious.

Dubs ruin the original voice acting, Spy x Family included, stick with subs for the real emotion.
