Got into a 40 minute argument about filler arcs at the anime club meetup in Denver last week
Last Tuesday at the library on Colfax I said the filler in the back half of Bleach was unwatchable and a guy pulled up a whole episode list on his phone to prove me wrong. We went back and forth for 40 minutes while everyone else just stood there eating chips, and now I'm wondering if I was too harsh. Does anyone actually defend filler arcs or was he just messing with me?

Forty minutes though? That guy actually pulled out his phone and scrolled the whole episode list right there at the library on Colfax? Pretty sure that man just wanted to win the argument, not talk about anime. Arguing that hard over filler is wild, like anybody is really out here defending the Bount arc with a straight face.
