Does anyone actually finish a roll and forget what was on it?
Last month I pulled a roll of Portra 400 out of my camera that I'd loaded back in March during a weekend trip to Portland, and when I got the scans back I couldn't remember taking half the shots. My buddy says that's part of the fun, the surprise element, but I feel like I'm wasting frames when I can't recall the moment I pressed the shutter. Are you guys tracking every shot in a notebook or do you embrace the mystery of a delayed roll that sat in your bag for 6 weeks?
