Showerthought: I called leather stamping a gimmick for 2 years, now I own 30 stamps
I figured a $12 mallet and some scrap veg tan could fake it, but after 3 tries the impressions still looked like mud next to my buddy's belt he did in his garage in Tulsa. So which is it, is stamping a real craft worth the time or just a money pit for people who like hitting things?
