DAE have a week where every single woodworking project goes wrong?
Last Tuesday I tried to build a simple bookshelf and it turned into a disaster. First my circular saw blade got stuck halfway through a 2x4, then I dropped a whole box of 1-5/8 inch screws on the garage floor and spent 20 minutes crawling around with a magnet. When I finally got the shelf together, I realized I had cut the side pieces 3 inches too short because I wrote the measurement down wrong on my notepad. By Thursday I gave up and just sat in the driveway with a cold drink watching the birds. Does anyone else have stretches like this where it feels like the tools are out to get you?
