Bought a $80 leather journaling kit and the thread snapped on page 6
I grabbed this 'premium' starter set from a shop in Portland last month because the video showed them stitching like pros. The thread broke clean through on the third signature and now I'm sitting with a half-finished book and no way to fix it without buying more supplies. Anyone know a brand that actually holds up or should I just switch to plain spiral notebooks?

Maybe your thread was a cheap polyester blend try linen from a fabric store instead.
