Am I the only one who thinks the rain ruined my notebook at the Portland Saturday Market?
I was sitting at the Portland Saturday Market on a rainy Saturday sketching in my pocket notebook when a gust flipped the pages and soaked half of them. Now I'm torn between two camps: keep it simple with a cheap spiral pad I don't mind wrecking, or go full Rite in the Rain waterproof paper that costs $12 a book. Part of me says the fear of messing up a nice notebook is what kills the habit in the first place. Which side are you on, cheap and replaceable or tough and pricey?
