Picked a wired system over wireless for my own house and kind of regret it

I installed alarms for a living so when I finally did my own place last month in Phoenix I figured I'd go all out with a hardwired DSC panel. Thought it would be more reliable and no battery swaps every few years. But man, running those wires through my attic was a nightmare took me three full weekends and I still have a couple zones that act up. Meanwhile my buddy threw in a 2GIG wireless system in half a day and it's been solid. The wireless tech has come a long way since I started in this trade 8 years ago. Should I just rip out my hardwired stuff and switch over or stick with it since it's already in? Anyone else make the jump from wired to wireless on their own property?

Which zones are giving you trouble and why?

Man, my buddy tried the frost zone yesterday and it was a trainwreck. He got stuck on that ice ledge near the broken bridge for like fifteen minutes, kept sliding off because the grip on his boots was totally shot. Ended up just rage-quitting and mumbling something about "needing better equipment" while staring at his drink.

Your buddy's story about the ice ledge is basically my entire experience with cheap winter boots (you know the kind, they look warm but have zero actual grip). It's like how people buy "waterproof" jackets that aren't really waterproof, just "water resistant" until a real rain hits. I've noticed this pattern everywhere lately, like how my neighbor bought an "indestructible" phone case that cracked the first time he dropped it on gravel. We keep getting sold this idea that stuff is way more capable than it actually is, and then we're left sliding off ice ledges (or dealing with cracked screens) wondering why we ever believed the hype.
