Appreciation post: Hit 500 service calls without a single callback for a bad install

Just hit the number this week, and it honestly shocked me. It's not about luck, it's about taking the extra ten minutes to check every wire and sensor before you leave the job. I had a run of three jobs in a row last year where I almost rushed and would have missed a loose door contact. Anyone else track a stat like this, or am I just weird?

Man, that's awesome. I see this everywhere now, that little extra care. My barber takes two more minutes to check the back of my head, and it makes all the difference. Your 500 jobs prove it's not magic, it's just not hitting the done button too early.

Totally read a book that called this the "last 10% rule.

It's the small details that turn a good job into a great one.
