Three years ago I torqued a panel bolt to the wrong spec and found it on the next inspection
Three years ago at a small field outside Wichita I rushed a panel closeout on a Cessna and used the wrong torque value from memory instead of the maintenance manual, and the next inspector caught it during a walk around. He didn't write me up, just pulled me aside and showed me the page I should have checked, and I've kept a copy in my toolbox since. How do you all handle torque callouts when you're working tired and the manual is across the hangar?
