PSA: the $180 torque wrench I bought in 2019 is still the best money I ever put in my box
Bought a calibrated 1/2 inch torque wrench for around $180 back in 2019 when I was still doing a lot of gear and brake work on a King Air. The cheap one I had before that cost me a wheel bolt on a Navajo because it would not hold its setting, and the boss tore me a new one over it. Ten years in the trade and that tool has outlasted two boxes and three sets of sockets, and I still get it checked once a year at the shop in Wichita. What is the one tool you paid real money for that actually earned it back?
