Just spent $300 on a set of offset box wrenches for a job on a 737 gear well, and I'm kicking myself for not buying them years ago.

Recognize that feeling of finally buying the right tool. I see it all the time with my neighbor, a carpenter. He'll fight with a cheap chisel for months, then get the good one and wonder why he waited. The right tool just changes the whole job.

It's not just about the right tool, but the right tool for that specific job. A cheap chisel works fine for rough work where precision doesn't matter. The good one is for the final, clean cuts.

My old torque wrench sat unused for a decade before it saved a whole engine rebuild.

I get what you're saying about the right tool, but honestly I've made do with cheap stuff for YEARS. Sometimes you just gotta work with what you've got.
