Week 3 of air fryer zucchini chips and I finally got them crisp at 380 for 14 minutes
Tried them at my sister's place in Boise last month and hers came out soggy too, so I started flipping halfway and salting after, and now my kids ask for them instead of fries, has anyone cracked the trick for getting the middle ones crunchy without burning the edges?
My buddy had the same problem with his batch, edges would go dark before the middles crisped up. He started laying them in a single layer with a little space between each one and that helped a ton, no more stacked up soggy centers. Also patting them really dry with a towel first made a big difference for him. He said the water is what steams them instead of frying. Might be worth a shot if you aren't already doing that.
