Reading a report from the University of Toronto, I saw that a single AI model can now process more data in a day than I did in my entire first year of college.

It was in a footnote about training compute, and it made the scale of modern machine learning feel very real. Has anyone else come across a stat that made you pause and reconsider the pace of this field?
