Am I the only one who tried letting an AI write my cover letters and got a weird result?
I fed ChatGPT about five job postings from Seattle and asked it to draft cover letters, and every single one came back saying I was "passionate about synergy" (a phrase I would never use in a million years). It also invented a job I never had at a company called Northwind Logistics, which was kind of scary. What I learned is that these tools copy the tone of the job post way too hard, so now I write my own first paragraph and let it handle the boring middle part only. Has anyone figured out a prompt that keeps the model from making stuff up about your resume?
