The cashier at the 24 hour gas station on Lamar called my snack choices "sad guy food" at 2am
I stopped at the Valero on Lamar around 2am last Tuesday for gas and grabbed a bag of cool ranch chips and a plain hot dog. The guy behind the counter looked at my stuff, then looked at me, and said "sad guy food, huh?" and laughed. I laughed too, but then I stood in the parking lot for a minute and realized he was kind of right, I eat like this every single time I'm out this late. Now I'm wondering what the actual late night snack upgrade is that doesn't require a real kitchen at 2am, what are you all grabbing when you're out that late?
