Pro tip: VR room mockups before painting saved my accent wall from disaster.

The color looked totally different in immersive light than on a screen.

Trust the tech, screens lie.

Hearing about the color shift preview totally makes sense. I had a similar thing where an app showed my chosen green looking vibrant at noon but way too dark by dusk. So I grabbed a few sample jars and painted large squares near the windows and in corners. Watching the actual light play on those swatches saved me from a major regret, lmao. Now I always live with the samples for a couple days before deciding.

Totally get that, I used an AR app on my phone and it was a GAME changer. The preview showed how the color shifted from morning to evening light, which saved me from a similar mistake. Now I always test in the actual space before committing to a gallon.

I mean, I tried one of those apps and it totally convinced me to go with this gray that looked perfect on screen. But in person, it just sucked all the warmth out of the room, like a hospital waiting area. Maybe it's just me but now I'm back to those old school paint samples taped to the wall.
