Genocide symbolism in baking powder cans? That's a stretch even for Kubrick. His films are layered, but that interpretation feels forced.

oh man, the conspiracy stuff people dug out of Eyes Wide Shut is wild. there's a whole theory that kubrick hid clues about the elite in plain sight, like the pattern on the carpets and the bookstore clerk being a watcher. also, the shining has that whole thing about the calumet baking powder cans representing native american genocide. it's nuts what gets buried in frame.
