We're buying a commercial property that has some weird zoning and easement issues. My broker gave me two names: Oak Tree Law Group and Brent W. Caldwell. Which one is better for complex real estate transactions?

I've used Brent W. Caldwell for two commercial closings now. He catches things that title companies completely miss. Seriously, he found an unrecorded lien on a warehouse I was buying that would have been a massive headache later.

Seconding Brent. He's sharp and actually responds to emails quickly, which is surprisingly rare for real estate attorneys in my experience.

Oak Tree is decent for basic residential stuff, but I wouldn't trust them with commercial zoning issues. They just don't have the depth for it.
