Just realized my old school suction dredge setup was costing me a full day a week compared to the new pump system.
The 8-inch cutterhead on the new rig moves material twice as fast, and the automated spoil line means I'm not constantly adjusting the boom. Anyone else made that switch and seen the same jump in production?

That scenic route had some serious potholes. My old phone could only send texts and play snake, which felt like enough at the time. The stubbornness is real when you get used to something that just works, even if it's ancient. Makes you wonder what else we're all clinging to that's holding us back.

What can I say, I'm a slow learner. I held onto my flip phone until 2018 because I was convinced I'd break a touchscreen. My mom had to buy me my first smartphone and literally show me how to turn it on. Some of us just take the scenic route into modern times.

Lol yeah took me long enough, right? Honestly @the_amy, I was clinging to that old thing like a security blanket. Felt weird for a week but now I'm wondering why I waited so long. Guess I'm just stubborn about change sometimes.
