Watch for extra charges on cafe meals in Prague

Some spots here add a sitting fee if you stay over an hour. I got hit with it twice while working from different cafes. Now I always ask about time limits before ordering. It can really add up over a month of remote work.

Seriously, that's becoming the norm in so many cities now. I check for signs about it everywhere, even if I'm just getting a coffee. It totally changes how you pick a spot to work from.

Honestly, when I heard about cafes adding sitting fees, I made it a rule to always ask upfront. I just say I'm planning to work for a bit and check if there's a time limit. It saves me from nasty surprises on the bill.
