Coworking memberships finally made sense after my 6th coffee shop eviction

I was the person who swore coworking spaces were a waste of cash, like why pay $250 a month when a free cafe table works, right? Then last month I got kicked out of my usual spot in Lisbon because they needed the table for a reservation, and the barista literally told me I'd been camping there for 4 hours. I packed up, wandered to a WeWork day pass, and realized I'd been losing 2 hours a day to bad wifi and noisy blenders anyway. The real kicker was the private call room, I finally took a client meeting without my voice echoing off a bathroom wall. Now I'm doing a hybrid thing, cafe in the mornings, shared space after lunch, and my output is actually up. Has anyone else held out on the membership model for way too long, or am I just the last convert to this whole thing?
