Warning: skip the cheap heat map tool, it lied about 40% of my mobile clicks
I used to trust the basic session recording add-on that came with my hosting for 6 months until I compared it against a proper tag manager setup last week and found it was dropping all the touch interactions on my Shopify product pages, has anyone else caught their analytics tools missing gestures that way?

Read a thread about this on a marketing subreddit the other day. Turns out a ton of those cheap heatmap plugins just ignore touch events on mobile unless you dig into the settings. Pretty wild that they don't flag it by default.
