Warning: Drove through small town Iowa and noticed something missing from everyone's local ads
I was delivering in Charles City last Saturday and every single local business ad I saw on Facebook had zero location info in the image itself - just logos and generic stock photos. It took me three clicks to figure out where the hardware store actually was. Why do so many small biz owners skip adding their street address right in the ad creative? Has anyone else seen this making local campaigns useless?

Yeah businesses just love playing hide and seek with their own addresses. My favorite is the bakery ad with a gorgeous cake photo but not a single clue where to buy it. Just a generic "call us!" with no phone number either. Like congrats guys you spent money on ads but nobody can actually find your store. The whole point of local advertising is telling people where you are. That's like running a garage sale without putting your address on the sign.

My neighbor tried to put up a flyer for his missing cat once... spent like an hour on the computer making it look all professional with a photo and everything. Then he taped it to the stop sign at the end of our street and the only contact info was his email address written in size 8 font at the very bottom. Some guy from two towns over found the cat but couldn't even call because the phone number was missing... ended up just letting the cat go because he didn't feel like typing out an email. Sometimes people just forget the basics when they're focused on making things look pretty.
