So I tried to fix my tablet screen and now the colors are all wrong

My old drawing tablet finally cracked after 4 years of daily use, and I watched a tutorial that said swapping the LCD panel was easy. The new screen works but every color looks like it's been through a weird filter, reds are brown and blues look purple. Anyone know if this is a calibration thing or did I just buy a knockoff panel off ebay?

Check if the ribbon cable is seated ALL the way in on both ends, a loose connection can mess with the color data without killing the screen entirely. I've seen that trick a few times on repair forums.
