Shoutout to my 4 year old tablet for dying mid sketch and taking 3 hours of line work with it
Last Friday I was finishing a digital piece for a local gallery show in Portland, and about 90 minutes in my tablet just froze and restarted on its own. When it came back, the file opened but half my layers were gone, including the line art I had been picking at for 3 hours. I tried the backup folder first, then the cloud sync, and neither had anything newer than the rough sketch from Tuesday. Ended up redrawing the whole thing with a mouse because I was too annoyed to set the tablet back up. Does anyone here run a second save every 10 minutes, and if so what app actually does that without me thinking about it?
