Spent $260 on a used injector tester and it found a bad one in 20 minutes
Picked up a used pop tester off a retiring guy in Bakersfield for $260, figuring I'd use it twice a year at most. A 6.7 came in running rough with a miss I couldn't pin down, rail pressure looked fine on the scan tool. Hooked each injector to the tester and number 3 popped off way early, spraying a cone instead of a stream. Customer had already replaced two injectors on a guess before he found me, so the tester paid for itself in one afternoon. Any of you running a bench setup at home, and how are you storing the fluid so it doesn't varnish between jobs?
