Customer at the parts counter in Tucson told me my injector diagnosis was lazy
Stopped by a shop over on 22nd to grab a set of injector o-rings last Tuesday and the guy at the counter asked what I was working on. I said the truck was missing and I figured bad injectors, and he just looked at me and said "you figure?" then walked me through doing a proper contribution test before throwing parts at it. Turns out I had a wiring harness chafe, not a bad injector, and he saved me about $400. What's the move when a parts guy knows more than you do, do you just swallow it or get annoyed like I did at first?
