My old keyboard was worth $80 and I almost tossed it

Found out my busted mechanical keyboard from 2019 had rare switches that collectors pay real money for, after I listed it for free on a swap group last Tuesday. A guy messaged me about the keycaps before I even posted the listing photo, so I did a quick search and saw completed sales. Anyone else ever accidentally sit on something valuable they thought was junk?
