The empty field where my dog used to run is now a parking garage
I've been walking my lab mix, Gus, through the same route for 6 years, and there used to be this huge dirt field off 5th Street where he could sprint off-leash every evening. They broke ground on it in March and by August it was a 3-story concrete parking structure, so now we just circle the block twice and call it a day. Anyone else lose their favorite walking spot to construction and have to rebuild the whole routine from scratch?
