That $40 rain coat for my dog was a complete waste of money
Bought one of those fancy waterproof coats from a pet store downtown and it ripped on a bush within 10 minutes of our first walk. Has anyone found a rain coat that actually holds up to a dog who loves to dive into the brush?

Yeah but $40 for a dog coat is on the cheaper end, most of the durable ones run closer to $60 or $70. Those mid-range coats from outdoor brands like Ruffwear or Hurtta hold up way better to bushwhacking. You just gotta look for something with reinforced seams and a tougher outer shell.

Nah, $60-$70 is crazy for a dog coat. My mutt tears through anything in a week. Bought a cheap $20 one from Tractor Supply and it's lasted two winters now. The expensive ones just mean you're paying for a brand name.
