My vet in Tucson bet me $20 that a shorter leash would fix my dog's sidewalk freakouts
I thought she was nuts since my guy is 70 lbs and strong, but I switched from a 6 foot leash to a 4 footer and the sidewalk meltdowns basically vanished in 3 days. Turns out he just needed to feel close to me when cars go by. Anyone else's dog act totally different on a shorter lead?
