My dog finally stops pulling, took 6 weeks of slow mornings
For the longest time, every walk with my beagle mix, Biscuit, was a tug of war. Last month I started stopping dead in my tracks every time he pulled, no movement, just waiting him out. It was rough at first, we'd take 30 minutes to go one block around the park near my apartment. But this week, he actually walked beside me the whole loop, loose leash the entire time, and I almost cried. Has anyone else tried the stop-and-wait trick and seen it click after a certain age?
