Unpopular opinion: I stopped racing my bus transfer and started catching the earlier one
For two years I sprinted across the platform at 7th and Main every morning to catch the 42, and I'd get there with maybe 10 seconds to spare, sweating through my shirt. Now I just take the 7:05 instead of the 7:20, which gives me a 4 minute cushion, and I haven't missed a connection at the downtown hub since March. Turns out the stress was all self-inflicted, I was just too stubborn to give up 15 minutes of sleep. Anyone else rearrange their whole morning over one transfer that keeps burning them?
