Rant: my uncle's shortcut advice made me late 4 days in a row
He swore taking the 6th Street feeder road during rush hour saved 15 minutes, but last Tuesday through Friday I sat behind three stalled semis and a school bus, so has anyone else had a relative's 'pro tip' turn out to be pure garbage?

Wait, three stalled semis AND a school bus? That's like the universe conspiring against you. One stalled semi I could see, but three in four days on that same road is just cursed. My dad once swore the alley behind the mall was a shortcut to the highway, and I got stuck behind a dumpster that was being loaded for like 20 minutes. Did your uncle at least admit he was wrong when you told him, or did he double down?
