Shoutout to my grandma's button tin for starting a 30-year habit I can't stop
When I helped clean out her attic in Tulsa 3 years ago, I found an old coffee tin packed with 214 mismatched buttons and asked to keep it. Now I sort through it every Sunday night at the kitchen table, and last month I found a brass one stamped 1918 that I've been showing to anyone who stands still long enough. Does anyone else keep a collection going purely out of family guilt, or am I the only one?
