I collected 20 years of spare change, turns out I was the punchline
My dad always tossed every coin into a big pickle jar on the shelf. I thought it was dumb, just clutter taking up space. After he moved to Arizona in 2022, he left the jar with me. I finally rolled it all last month, took 4 hours and counted $487 in quarters alone. Total came to $1,263, which paid for new tires on my truck. Guess I was the one skimping at the register for no reason. Anyone else inherit a 'useless' stash that actually beat inflation?
