Showerthought: My prompt notebooks from 2019 vs 2021 look like two different people wrote them
I dug out my old prompt notebook from a move last week and flipped through pages I filled in 2019 and pages from 2021. The early ones are all three paragraph setups where I explain the whole world before asking anything, and the later ones are four lines with one weird rule like the character can't use the letter e. I think what changed is I ran a prompt swap on a forum for a few months and watching other people's tiny prompts get wilder results shamed me into cutting mine down. Curious if anyone else has old prompt drafts that make them cringe, and what made you start trimming them.
