I grabbed this big 4x6 whiteboard off a guy in Sacramento for 80 bucks because I was sure seeing my plot points spread out would fix my messy draft, and instead I just stare at all that empty white space every night. The funny part is I still use a stack of sticky notes and a cheap notebook to actually figure things out, so the board has turned into a spot for grocery lists and one sad drawing of my main character. Have you ever dropped real cash on some writing tool that was supposed to unlock everything and it just sat there judging you?
