My corner lamp used to cost me an hour of reading time every night

I had a floor lamp pointing straight down at my chair for years, made the whole corner feel like a waiting room. Swapped it for a wall sconce aimed at the ceiling last month, now the light bounces soft and I actually finish chapters before 11 PM. Anyone else ditch direct lighting for indirect and notice their eyes stop aching?
