Hot take: I moved my reading chair from the wall to the corner and it changed everything
For 2 years my reading chair sat flat against the living room wall and I never understood why I didn't want to sit in it. Last weekend I dragged it into the corner by the window, wedged a little side table next to it, and now I'm in that spot every night with a lamp over my shoulder. The difference was the walls hugging me on two sides instead of one, plus the light hitting the page instead of my back. Also threw a thrifted quilt over the arm and my cat claimed the whole thing in an hour. Anyone else rearrange a nook and get weirdly proud of it?
