Am I the only one who spent 4 months trying to hide a router in my reading nook and still sees the blinking light?
I have this cozy corner in my Denver apartment with a big armchair and a floor lamp, and I wanted it to look like a page from a magazine. I tried hiding my wifi router behind three books, then inside a woven basket, then under a stack of magazines, but the signal kept dropping and the blinking green light still leaked through at night. It took me 4 months and about $60 in random baskets and cable covers before I just unplugged the thing and put it in the hallway closet. Now I have an ugly cord running under my rug and the lamp flickers when the fridge kicks on, but at least the corner feels calm at night. Has anyone else given up and just moved their router to a totally different room?
