The thrifted anglepoise lamp that came with a surprise note taped to it

Found this beat up anglepoise lamp at a flea market in Dayton for like $8. When I got it home I peeled off a sticky note that said "Marge, if you're reading this, stop borrowing my lamp without asking. Your ficus is dying. Love, Bob." I laughed so hard I almost dropped the thing. Took me a whole weekend to clean the 40 years of grime and rewire the cord, but now it sits on my desk and casts this perfect warm glow over my keyboard. I've never met Bob or Marge but I think about them every time I turn it on. Has anyone else ever bought used furniture or gear that had some weird personal artifact left behind on it? What did you find?
