Used to build forts with dining chairs, now it's curtain rods and binder clips, way sturdier
I used to just toss a bedsheet over the couch and prop it up with pillows, but every time I moved an inch the whole thing would slide off and wake me up mid nap. Two months ago I switched to using my dining table with a fitted sheet snapped over the corners and heavy books on the floor edges, now I can actually stretch out without demolishing everything. Any tips for keeping the ceiling from sagging when you use a heavier blanket?
Whoa hold on, you're telling me you snapped a fitted sheet over your dining table corners and that actually works? That is wild because I have been fighting with loose sheets for years and never once thought to use the fitted one. The dining table thing blows my mind too, like are you climbing under a table to nap or did I read that wrong? Heavy books on the floor edges makes sense though, that would keep the sides from creeping up on you. For the sagging ceiling problem, I tape a broom handle or a cheap tension rod across the widest point underneath and it gives the blanket something to rest on instead of drooping down on your face. Also try clipping the top edge tighter with more binder clips spaced close together, that pulls the slack out and stops the middle from dipping.
