DAE think a fitted sheet works better as a fort roof than a regular blanket?
Last Friday night I was building a fort in my living room in Akron for my niece and used a queen fitted sheet for the roof, and those elastic corners hooked onto my couch and two chairs so tight that the whole thing never sagged once. My sister swears a flat blanket draped over a broomstick is the classic way, but hers kept sliding down every 10 minutes while mine held for 3 hours straight. So now I'm torn, does a fitted sheet count as cheating or is it just the smarter move? I want to hear from the purists and the corner-hookers on this one.
