I still cut wet hair before blow drying, even when every stylist around me says to start dry
Last Tuesday at my station in Cleveland I had a client with a 4 inch length cut who swore dry cutting was the only way to get a clean line. I did her consult dry, then took her to the bowl anyway and did the whole shape on damp hair with my shears, checking it twice as it dried. She ended up with the softest layered bob I have done in a while and asked who taught me that. Am I crazy for thinking wet cutting gives me more control on textured hair, or do you all really only cut dry now?
