Can we settle this: blow dry the roots first or rough dry the whole head before sectioning
Last week a client with thick shoulder length hair came in after a wedding where she says her style fell flat in an hour, so I tried rough drying her whole head to about 80 percent before I picked up a single section, and she left with bounce that held through a rainy walk to her car. My coworker says that wastes time and insists on going section by section from wet, and honestly her blowouts look great too. I'm not sure which one of us is right or if it just depends on the hair. What do you all do, and does the density change your answer?
